Research Description

I work in the Trainor lab, where I study how neuroendocrine dynamics within the brain impact social behavior. I am most interested in the lasting protein-level changes within the brain that alter behavior following socially stressful experiences. I compare this data between sexes to analyze the molecular basis of sexually dimorphic behavior in response to social defeat. My project spans perspectives in molecular, systems, and behavioral neuroscience as I discover the neural basis of how life experiences influence future behavior.
